NSDOSFR
From NSDOS practice, everything can be hacked: technology, the body, expression, the way we connect with the environment. With this unstoppable curiosity to transform the digital, social and spiritual devices that come into our lives by default, Kirikoo Des has expanded his artistic practice from dance to transmedia, creating a space that rethinks dance music from every variable.
NSDOS hacker instinct is best appreciated live: the machines, software, sound and body movement detonated from the stage are the result of an incisive procedure of readjustment and transformation that extends to the audience. In this immersive experience, NSDOS dismantles the creative process and any intermediation between musical creation and its effect on the body, space and community.
Sometimes called the "hacker of techno" by the French press, NSDOC distorts the technological tools, creating a link between machines and matter. He collects living data, using his own motion capture sensors on his dancing body, interactive devices, and injects them into the rectilinear skeleton of techno to make an organic matrix. His artistic practice proposes a radical new synthesis of dance and technology, exploring mechanical hacking and creative coding. He invites the public to push back with him the limits of the body, objects, and sounds.
