As the sun sets on Alserkal Avenue, MICRO MUTEK AE - Edition 3 transforms into a mesmerizing, late-night experience with its Nocturne programming. This series promises to get audiences grooving with live performances that push the boundaries of electronic music and audiovisual experimentation.

Converging this year in Dubai is a global lineup to set the stage for two nights of;

NOCTURNE 1: May 4

NSDOS’ groundbreaking explorer with a live set that blurs the lines between the physical and the digital and is certain to get crowds grooving. Using a radical new synthesis of dance and technology, exploring mechanic hacking and creative coding. He invites the public to push back with him on the limits of the body, objects and sounds.

Salar Ansari Trio, featuring Grammy and Oscar winner, Luis Resto and Pathe Jassi, will weave a tapestry of intricate textures and hypnotic melodies, immersing the audience in a dreamlike sonic realm. A powerful exploration of sounds that transcends genres and creates a truly immersive experience for audiences.

Joining them is the acclaimed Mathew Jonson, one of the most distinctive voices in electronic dance music. His music offers a rare fusion of populist intensities and nuanced musicality.

NOCTURNE 2: May 5

404.zero will present their genre-defying live set that seamlessly merges elements of techno, industrial, and experimental music. With mind-altering experiences in generative art and metastasizing digital matter of frighteningly porous frontiers.

Flabbergast will unleash its signature brand of experimental techno, creating relentless, mind-bending soundscapes. Their music draws its influences from the four corners of electronic music, but also from jazz, hip hop and contemporary music.

Rounding out the Nocturne lineup will be the world premiere of Satoshi Tomiie × Kuniyuki x Manami Sakamoto as they improvise together on the stage. Satoshi on modular synth, Kuniyuki on electronic and live instruments interacting live on stage with Manami’s visual. All performers interact and inspire each other live on stage with free jazz spirit in mind.
